8 March 2017, in accordance with article 36(1) which reads as follows: "This Convention shall enter into force 30 days after the date of deposit of the sixth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession".

Note :
The Convention shall be opened for signature by States members of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) and by the Republic of Rwanda, States members of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, at Brazzaville, on 19 November 2010, and subsequently at United Nations Headquarters in new York, until its entry into force, in accordance with its article 35, paragraph 1.
