3An instrument of acceptance of the Protocol was deposited on 2 December 1975 with the Secretary-General by the Government of the German Democratic Republic with a declaration. For the text of the declaration, see United Nations, Treaty Series , vol. 987, p. 410. 7In signing the Protocol, the Governments of the People's Republic of Romania and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics declared that they are not in agreement with article 7 of the annex to the said Protocol. See also note 1 under “Russian Federation” in the “Historical Information” section in the front matter of this volume.
