Note :
The Agreement was adopted by the Inland Transportation Committee of the Economic Commission for Europe at its fifty-eighth session held at Geneva from 15 to 19 January 1996. In accordance with its article 5 (1), the Agreement is open at the Office of the United Nations in Geneva for signature by States which are members of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe or have been admitted to the Commission in a consultative capacity in conformity with paragraphs 8 and 11 of the Terms of Reference of the Commission, form 1 October 1996 to 30 September 1997.

       “In accordance with article 11 of the Agreement, the Republic of Austria declares that it does not consider itself bound by article 10 of this Agreement.”
Serbia

Reservation:
       “In accordance with Article 11 of the European Agreement on Main Inland Waterways of International Importance, the Republic of Serbia shall not be bound under Article 10 of this Agreement.”
