On depositing the instrument of ratification the Government of Switzerland declared that the provisions of the Convention will apply to the Principality of Liechtenstein, so long as it is linked to Switzerland by a customs union treaty.
The signature by Denmark was affixed subject to ratification. In a communication received on 16 May 1958, the Government of Denmark notified the Secretary-General of the withdrawal of the reservation as to ratification.
On 22 July 2021, the Government of Denmark notified the Secretary-General of its denunciation of the Convention with effect from 22 January 2022 in accordance with article 7 of the Convention.
On 11 March 2022, the Government of France notified the Secretary-General of its denunciation of the Convention with effect from 11 September 2022 in accordance with article 7 of the Convention.

On 6 April 2021, the Government of Luxembourg notified the Secretary-General of its denunciation from the Convention with effect from 6 October 2021 in accordance with article 7 of the Convention.

On 17 March 2023 the Government of Switzerland notified the Secretary General of its denunciation of the Convention with effect on 17 September 2023 in accordance with article 7 of the Convention.
