Reservation: “With reference to Paragraph 1 of the Article 12 of the Additional Protocol, The Republic of Azerbaijan, does not consider itself bound by the provision of Article 11 relating to the disputes arising from the interpretation or application of this Protocol, [to] be referred for settlement to the International Court of Justice.”
Iran (Islamic Republic of)
Declaration: “… in the implementation of article 12 of the Additional Protocol, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not consider itself bound by the provisions of article 11 of the Protocol concerning the referral of disputes to the International Court of Justice; such referral is subject to the express consent of all the parties to the dispute and in compliance with the relevant Iranian laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Oman
Reservation: … [the Government of Oman makes] a reservation to Article 11 of the aforementioned protocol.
Türkiye
Reservation: “Republic of Turkey, does not consider itself bound by the provision of Article 11 relating to the disputes rising from the interpretation or application of this Protocol, be referred for settlement to the International Court of Justice.”
Ukraine
Reservation: “With reference to Paragraph 1 of the Article 12 of the Additional Protocol, Ukraine does not consider itself bound by Article 11 of this Additional Protocol.”
Until further notice, the Protocol does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
