In accordance with its article 6 (1), the Protocol will be open at the Office of the United Nations in Geneva for signature by States which are Contracting Parties to the European Agreement on Important International Combined Transport Lines and Related Installations (AGTC) of 1991 from 1 November 1997 to 31 October 1998.
