7Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of GoodsNew York, 14 June 19741 August 1988, in accordance with article 44 which reads as follows: "1. This Convention shall enter into force on the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the date of the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification or accession. 2. The Conference was convened in accordance with Resolution <a href="/doc/source/docs/A_RES_28_3104-E.pdf" target="_blank">3104 (XXVIII)</a><superscript>1</superscript> of the General Assembly adopted on 12 December 1973. The Convention was opened for signature at the Headquarters of the United Nations, New York, on 14 June 1974, (closing date for signature: 31 December 1975).
