8 . General Agreement on Economic Regulations for International Road transport (a) Additional Protocol (b) Protocol of Signature

[With the exception of the Additional Protocol (paragraph 3 of the Additional Protocol provides that it shall enter into force on the date of its signature and shall be considered an integral part of the General Agreement on the date of entry into force of the Agreement)], see article 10 which reads as follows: "1. The present Agreement shall come into force on the ninetieth day after five of the countries referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 8 (i.e. Countries participating in the work of the Economic Commission for Europe, and countries granted the right to do so by a resolution of the Commission) have signed it without reservation or ratification, have ratified it or have acceded to it. 2. For any country ratifying or acceding to it after that date, the present Agreement shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the said country has deposited its instrument of ratification or accession. 3. The present Agreement shall terminate if at any time the number of Contracting Parties thereto is less than five.". 1
