in accordance with article 25(1) which reads as follows: "This Convention shall enter into force 180 days after the date of the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession".
Note :
The Convention was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations by Resolution 80/162 at its 64th plenary meeting in New York on 15 December 2025. In accordance with its articles 20 and 21, the Convention shall be open for signature to all States and regional economic integration organizations in Accra, on 26 October 2026.
