INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT19Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of an International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing CountriesNew York, 24 September 2010Not yet in forcein accordance with article 12(1) which reads as follows: "The present Agreement shall enter into force on the sixtieth day after the date of deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.".StatusSignatories7Parties4TextDepositary notification C.N.639.2010.TREATIES-2 of 7 October 2010Following the resolution 58/201 of the General Assembly of 23 December 2003 adopting the outcome of the International Ministerial Conference and the Almaty Programme of Action, and the resolution A/RES/64/214 of the General Assembly of 22 December 2009 welcoming the establishment of the think tank for the landlocked developing countries in Ulaanbaata, the 9th Annual Ministerial Meeting of Landlocked Developping Countries, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 24 September 2010, endorsed the final text of the Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of an International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries which was deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations on 24 September 2010. In accordance with its article X, the Agreement was opened for signature at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 1 November 2010 and will remain open for signature at United Nations Headquarters in New York until 31 October 2011.
