36 . International Agreement on Jute and Jute Products, 1989*

Entry into force

provisionally on 12 April 1991, in accordance with article 40(3). The Agreement was extended until 11 April 1998 and 11 April 2000, respectively, by International Jute Council Decisions I (XXIII) and I (XXIV) adopted at its twenty-third and twenty-fourth sessions held in Dhaka from 22 to 25 April 1995, and from 20 to 22 April 1996. The Agreement was terminated in accordance with its provisions on 11 April 2000.
