Secretary-General’s Bulletin: Procedures to be followed by the departments, offices and regional commissions of the United Nations with regard to treaties and international agreements

To clarify the understanding of the procedures for registration of treaties with the UN Secretariat and deposit of treaties and subsequent treaty actions with the Secretary-General, the present bulletin was issued (ST/SGB/2001/7). It is recommended that this bulletin is used in conjunction with the Treaty Handbook which offers further details on the deposit, registration and publication of treaties.
